1. CALL TO ORDER AND APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
G. Massad called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. B. Chenard was seated for T. Bleasdale.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION: Motion made by K. Petrini, seconded by V. Ebersole, to approve the August
9, 2022 meeting minutes.
VOTE: 4-0
3. APPLICATION RECEIPT
#PL-22-15 Request of Hendels Furniture, LLC, owner & applicant for a two lot subdivision for
property located 47 Great Neck Road, NB and I-G zone, as shown on plans entitled
"Subdivision Plan Property of Hendels Furniture LLC 47 Great Neck Road Waterford,
Connecticut"
ACTION REQUIRED BY: 10/27/2022
The Commission received the application. A potential date for Commission review is September
6.
4. PLAN OF PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Rory Jacobson, AICP and Laura Nagle of FHI Studio, Inc. discussed with the Commission
existing conditions within the Town and the potential dates for “pop-up” events and workshops
for FHI Studio Inc. to attend and potentially gather information.
The potential date for the “pop-up” event will be Oct. 8 to coincide with the Waterford’s
Harvest Day. Workshop dates proposed are Oct. 12 as a virtual workshop and Oct. 18 as an in-
person workshop. Venues will be arranged.
The Commission requested more data on existing demographics and housing trends.
Members of the Commission are to provide input on the status of the various tasks that are
identified in the 2012 Implementation Element of the Current POCD.
