1. CALL TO ORDER/APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
MOTION: Motion made by G. Russo, seconded by K. Mullen-Kohl, to appoint M.
Buscetto Chairman of this meeting.
VOTE: 3-0
Acting Chairman Buscetto called the meeting to order at 5:00
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - July 11, 2024
MOTION: Motion made by K. Mullen-Kohl, seconded by G. Russo to approve the
minutes of the July 11, 2024 meeting as written
VOTE: 3-0
J. Greco arrived at 5:05.
UPDATE ON NEW AND EXISTING BUSINESSES
M. Wujtewicz updated the Commission on the status of ongoing development projects in
Town.
NEW BUSINESS
Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening for new businesses
The Commission discussed which businesses they would contact for a ribbon cutting
ceremony.
OLD BUSINESS
EDC Sponsored Open House
The Commission reviewed a draft flyer prepared by RT Brown of seCTer, and offered
suggestions for modifications. The Commission determined that the Open House will be
held on September 26 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Filomena’s Restaurant.

M. Wujtewicz and J. Mullen were tasked with providing a mailing list of Waterford
Small Businesses for the Commission to use for mailing the flyers. J. Greco will
coordinate the mailings with R.T. Brown
Gateway Signage
The Commission discussed designs and locations of the proposed signage. It was the
consensus of the Commission to model the design of the signs similar to the metal
Waterford Sign located on the Jordan Green.

MOTION: Motion made by M. Buscetto, seconded by K. Mullen-Kohl, to adjourn the
meeting at 5:30.
