Date: November 13, 2024 To: Board of Selectman From: Ryan McNamara, Director of Recreation and Parks Re: Request for Additional Appropriation for Employee Separation from Town of Waterford I respectfully request an additional appropriation in the amount of $4,329.91 to the Personnel budget line 10137-51610 to cover a separation payout for a staff member who resigned on September 17, 2024. The payout for the separation from the Town was $4,329.91 that covered accrued vacation time. This payout was reflected in the September 27, 2024 payroll. This amount was not an anticipated expense and not accounted for in the FY’25 Recreation and Parks operating budget. Our understanding is that these types of expenses are to be processed without negatively affecting operational budgets and therefore, requesting the additional appropriation.
