1. CALL TO ORDER/APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
Chairman Lusher called the meeting to order at 5:00 and seated J. Greco for K. Mullen-
Kohl.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - August 8, 2024
MOTION: Motion made by M. Buscetto, seconded by J. Greco to approve the minutes
of the August 8, 2024 meeting as written
VOTE: 4-0
3. UPDATE ON NEW AND EXISTING BUSINESSES
J. Mullen stated there is currently no anticipated opening date for the gas station at 1 18
Boston Post Road.
M. Wujtewicz stated that the new car wash at 806 Hartford Turnpike is looking for final
inspections.
M. Buscetto informed the Commission that Play it Again Sports and the Café NV
restaurant will be closing.
4. NEW BUSINESS
e 2025 EDC meeting schedule
MOTION: Motion made by M. Buscetto, seconded by J. Greco, to approve the 2025
meeting schedule as drafted.
VOTE: 4-0
5. OLD BUSINESS
e Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening for new businesses
J. Mullen informed the Commission that the grand opening for Chipotle will be held on
September 17.

e EDC Sponsored Open House
J. Mullen stated that Staff will be coordinating with RT Brown from SeCTer. M.
Buscetto requested that a press release be sent to the Day newspaper.
e Gateway Signage
J. Mullen stated that he had contacted the Historical Society, and will be meeting with
representatives from the Historical Society and the Blacksmith’s shop.
6. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Motion made by M. Buscetto, seconded by J. Greco, to adjourn the
meeting at 5:24.
VOTE: 4-0
