1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Muckle at 6:30PM. I. Plis was seated for T. Maidelis.
2, APPROVAL OF THE Febtuaty 22, 2024 MEETING MINUTES
W. Thomas requested a correction to page 2, second patagraph to change “venal” to vernal.
Motion: Made by M. Keatley seconded by K. Kriet to approve the February 22, 2024 meeting
minutes.
Vote: 5-0-3 [I. Plis, G. Renegar, W. Thomas abstained]
3. NEW APLICATIONS
No new applications were submitted.
4. APPLICATION REVIEW
C-23-12: 1122-1124 Hartford Turnpike, Construction of tree/lumbet facility — East Lyme Tree
Services — Applicant/Ownet.
The Commission reviewed the draft permit and discussed the conditions.
Motion: Made by W. Thomas seconded by G. Renegar to approve permit C-23-12 as written.
Vote: 7-0-0
5. VIOLATIONS
9 Waterview Drive, Unauthorized Deposition of Materials in and Adjacent to Waterbodies
Staff reported that site stabilization measures will be implemented as weather permits.
6. OTHER BUSINESS
Draft Plan of Conservation & Development — Review Sections 6 & 7
Staff requested Commission membets submit written comments for consideration by the Planning
Department and Planning & Zoning Commission in the next two weeks.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Motion: Made by M. Keatley seconded by D. Lersch to adjourn at 6:59pm.
