UPDATED MINUTES

PROCEDURE: The Board of Selectmen will hear budget requests in accordance
with the below agenda for the Budget meeting, which begins at 4:00pm:
The Board of Selectmen to consider and act on the following proposed budgets and
at the appropriate time forward to the Board of Finance for its consideration of and
action on the FY26 Budgets:

Consider and act on the following budget requests:
Standing Motion: was made by Selectman, Rich Muckle and seconded by Selectman,
Greg Attanasio to tentatively approve the budget requests for FY26.
1. Social Service Grants — To consider and act on the Social Service
Grants tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of $103,510.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $103,510. VOTE 3-0
2. Conservation of Health (Ledge Light Health District) — To consider
and act on the Conservation of Health (Ledge Light Health District)
tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of $155,063.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $155,063. VOTE 3-0
3. Representative Town Meeting — To consider and act on the
Representative Town Meeting tentative FY26 budget request in the
amount of $18,903.

MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $18,903. VOTE 3-0
4. Town Clerk — To consider and act on the Town Clerk tentative FY26
budget request in the amount of $272,301.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $272,301. VOTE 3-0
5. Police - To consider and act on the Police tentative FY26 budget
request in the amount of $7,250,097.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $7,250,097. VOTE 3-0
6. Youth & Family Services — To consider and act on the Youth &
Family Services tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$307,435.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $307,435. VOTE 3-0
7, Senior Citizens Commission — To consider and act on the Senior
Citizens Commission tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$523,586.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $523,586. VOTE 3-0
8. Waterford Public Library — To consider and act on the Waterford
Public Library tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$1,031,861.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Brule to reduce line # 51220 by $17,725
due to service being provided under a separate contract. VOTE 2-1

MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Brule to reduce line # 51920 to $1356 due
to service being provided under a separate contract. VOTE 2-1

MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total

10. Information Technology — To consider and act on the Information
Technology tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$1,214,796.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $1,214,796, VOTE 3-0
11. Board of Finance — To consider and act on the Board of Finance
tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of $83,608.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $83,608. VOTE 3-0
12. Contingency — To consider and act on the Contingency tentative FY26
budget request in the amount of $273,000.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to amend the requested budget
amount from $273,000 to $265,000. VOTE 3-0
