PROCEDURE: The Board of Selectmen will hear budget requests in accordance
with the below agenda for the Budget meeting, which begins at 4:00pm:
‘The Board of Selectmen to consider and act on the following proposed budgets and
at the appropriate time forward to the Board of Finance for its consideration of and
action on the FY26 Budgets:

Consider and act on the following budget requests:
1. Retirement - To consider and act on the Retirement tentative FY26
budget request in the amount of $7,760,257.
MOTION by Attanasio, seconded by Muckle, to restore line # 51949,
$336,203. VOTE 1-2 MOTION FAILED
Voting For: Attanasio
Voting Against: Brule, Muckle
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $7,760,257. VOTE 2-1
Voting For: Brule, Muckle
Voting Against: Attanasio

2. Insurance - To consider and act on the Insurance tentative FY26
budget request in the amount of $6,104,561.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $6,104,561. VOTE 3-0
3. Debt Service -To consider and act on the Debt Service tentative FY26
budget request in the amount of $7,964,500.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $7,964,500. VOTE 3-0
4. Capital Improvements - To consider and act on the Capital
Improvements tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$1,101,089.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $1,101,089. VOTE 2-1

5. Transfer to Capital Non-Recurring - To consider and act on the
Transfer to Capital Non-Recurring tentative FY26 budget request in
the amount of $773,264.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $773,264. VOTE 2-1

6. General Government Operations — To consider and act on the Total
General Government Operations tentative FY26 budget request in the
amount of $41,305,899.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to amend the amount
from“$4 1,305,899” to “$41,258,818”. VOTE 3-0
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $41,258,818. VOTE 3-0
7. Capital and Debt Service — To consider and act on the Total Capital
and Debt Service tentative FY26 budget request in the amount of
$9,838,853.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $9,838,853. VOTE 2-1

8. Total Town Budget — To consider and act on the proposed FY26 Total
Town Budget request in the amount of $51,144,752.
