APPROVAL OF THE March 11, 2026 and June 10, 2026 Meeting Minutes

Motion made K. Mullen-Kohl, seconded by J. Nicholas, to approve the March 11,
2026.

SECTER Annual Membership $8,806.95
MOTION: 
Motion made K. Mullen-Kohl, seconded by J. Nicholas, to approve the SECTER
Annual Municipal Contribution. $8,806.95.

NEW BUSINESS
Update Electric Board at Crystal Mall
M. Wujtewicz noted that permits have been issued and work has commenced in the old Sears
and Bed, Bath & Beyond sections. The entire project is expected to be substantially completed
February 2028 and totally completed August 2028. J. Nicholas asked if EB will be establishing
any additional workforce training programs in coordination with the school system. M. Buscetto
noted that there are some area schools that will be implementing additional workforce training
within their curriculum as a result of Electric Boat increasing presence in the region. He also
noted that there may be space available in the Project LEARN section within the Community
Center Building once the new Project LEARN Multicultural Magnet School in Waterford has
been completed.

Update 2026 Plan of Conservation and Development
M. Wujtewicz reported that the Plan of Conservation and Development draft has been completed
and it before the Planning and Zoning Commission. It is still being finalized and is expected to
have a public hearing to approve before the end of the year.
New Projects
M. Wujtewicz reported on new projects throughout Town.

OLD BUSINESS
Discussion — Part Time EDC Community Liaison
M. Wujtewicz reported that the job description is with the First Selectman and will be presented
to the Personnel Review Board on August 20, 2026.
