To the town of Waterford, Application for inland wetland/ watercourse permit
#7 Description of proposed activity
Proposing to remove invasive Japanese knot weed stock and roots, bordering approximately 100
feet of stream. Digging of roots with a small excavator to help with minimal ground disturbance.
After excavation, roots will be hauled off properly and disposed of, a hay tarp with grass seed
will be laid to help with erosion and stabilization of banks. Several native bushes or shrubs; to be
determined by property owner, will be installed to act as a buffer.
