DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION (describe the type, purpose & anticipated accomplishments of the project)
Lconstruction. This nroiect includes a 10% contingency,
We continue to request and make upgrades within our building, which is now approximately 35 years old, In this request, we seek
funding for a much needed locker room renovation project. This project will not only update areas directly impacting the employees of
the Waterford Police Department, but it will also expand the female locker room in size, as we are beyond capacity for female
employees, Although we have taken temporary measures to provide adequate space for newly hired female employees, these efforts are
temporary only and are not sustainable for future growth, This project will double our capacity for female employecs including
increased showers and (oilets (from one each to two in the female locker room), replace the original lockers providing proper ventilation
and power outlets and install new acoustical ceilings and tiling to replace the original pink and blue tiling that will be irreparable afer
