1/6/2024 Oswegatchie Fire House Building Committee Dear Members, | would expect that someone from the BOS, BOF or RTM will want to know an approximate value of the proposed new firehouse based on the interviews with the 2 A & E firms submitting proposals. We know from our conversation with both firms that PS & A stated an approximate building cost at $800/sf and the The Galante Architectural Studio estimated cost between $800-900/sf. We know that DRA’s 2014 and 2018 designs were both shown to be 13,350 sf in size. Therefore, | will use this figure to project a budget estimate for this project using the lower figure of $800/sf. Building cost 13,350sf @ $800/sf $ 10,680,000 A&E Fees (see summary below) $ 883,450 Subtotal . $ 11,563,445 Contingency 5% $ 578,223 Total $ 12,141,673 This does include any fixtures / furnishing, any electronic / phone / internet & any other electronic equipment and specialty equipment normally needed. A&E Fees Phase | $ 176,550 Phase Il 5.5% of $10,680,000 $ 587,400 Specialty Consultants (using Kepple’s figure) $ 90,000 A & E Fees on Specialty Consultants $ 4,500 HPB $ 25,000 Total $ 883,500 COMMITTEE REPORT STATUS UPDATE OF THE OSWEGATCHIE FIRE HOUSE BUILDING COMMITTEE AS OF 1/11/2024 1.
