Re: Reassignment of Senior Services Van from Senior Services to the Waterford Police

Per a request from Police Chief Balestracci, the Waterford Police Department has requested to
acquire the oldest Senior Services Ford minibus in our fleet that was recently replaced through a
grant withithe State of CT Department of Transportation with a new 2022 minibus,

The. new Ford minibus arrived and is on our campus awaiting a transfer of plates. It has also been
added to the fleet list and our assets list for the department.
The, minibus the WPD has asked to acquire is identified as;
R-5,a 2013
Ford minibus,
VIN #1FDEE3FS8DDB28949, and mileage as of July 7th - 122,649
The. new minibus is awaiting a transfer of plates from R5 2013 through the Department of Motor
Vehicles. Our scheduled appointment is for July 19%, 2022.
We do support Chief Balestracci’s request and defer to you for your final recommendation.
