Requirements for Public Hearing
Dear Sirs,
At their December 8, 2022 meeting, the Waterford Conservation Commission unanimously
voted to hold a public hearing for application #C-22-14, 109R & 131Clark Lane, Waterford CT
under section 9.1 of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations in the interest of the
public. The public hearing is scheduled for January 26, 2023 6:30 pm at Waterford Town Hall.
An additional application fee of $400.00 is required, in accordance with Section 20.4.
In accordance with Section 9.4 of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Regulations, you are
required to mail notification of the pending public hearing to a least one owner of all properties
located within 100 feet or less of the subject site boundary, all as shown on the latest Grand List
at the Town of Waterford Assessor’s Office (or the actual owners of record if otherwise known
to the applicant). Notice of the hearing must be mailed not more than 15 days nor less than 10
days before the date set for the public hearing by transmitting a copy of the text of the hearing
notice which is attached.
Evidence of such mailing, in the form of US Post Office Certificates of Mailing, shall be
submitted to this office with the list of property owners within 100 feet of the site boundary no
later than January 20, 2023, (which is not less than five calendar days prior to the hearing date).
