Required Corrective Actions
Mr. & Mrs. Madigan;
At their scheduled July 14, 2022 meeting, the Waterford Conservation Commission reviewed the.
referenced Notice of Non-Compliance issued June 10, 2022 for clearing and mowing a portion of the non-
encroachment area east of your property at 43 Shawandassee Road. The Commission required the
following corrective actions be completed within 30 days of receipt of this letter to address the
unauthorized activity in the wetland non-encroachment area:
1. Stop the cutting of vegetation and mowing in the wetland non-encroachment area east of your
property and allow the undergrowth to return to its natural state.
2. Install a second 4x4 post off the northeastern corner of your rear property line to serve as a visual
reminder of the extent of authorized mowing and maintenance for the pedestrian pathway
approved under the subdivision. Please notify this office upon installation of this post and a non-
encroachment area boundary marker will be affixed to it.
A copy of the subdivision plan indicating your property limits and the approved wetland non-
encroachment boundary is attached for your reference.
