Approval of Restoration Plan
Ms. Sirpenski,
At their May 13, 2021 meeting, the Conservation Commission approved the stream channel restoration
plan submitted by Turner Environmental, LLC for the stream impacted at 54 Rope Ferry Road.
Please submit a completed inland wetland permit application form for the proposed restoration plan work,
indicating the total area of wetland disturbance, both permanent and temporary. This will be processed to
accompany the restoration plan. A $160.00 application fee is required, payable to Town of Waterford.
As required in the Corrective Actions letter dated February 26, 2021:
1. The wetland restoration work shall be completed within 30 days of the Commission’s approval of
the restoration plan. The applicant shall notify the Commission’s agent upon completion to
schedule an inspection.
2. Inspection reports documenting the status of the wetland restoration and channel stabilization
shall be submitted to the Conservation Commission by May 30, and September 30, 2021. The
inspection reports shall document survival of vegetation plantings and enhancement areas and soil
stabilization with photographs of the mitigation area.
