Re: Wetland Buffer Enhancement Plan

At their April 8, 2021 meeting, the Conservation Commission approved with conditions the wetland
buffer enhancement mitigation plan prepared by Ian T. Cole, dated March 23, 2021, to mitigate the
impacts of unauthorized wetland fill associated with the culvert installation 14B Shore Road.
The plan was approved with the following conditions:
1) The boundaries of the wetland enhancement area shall be marked with shrub plantings and wetland
non-encroachment markers affixed to posts;
2) The final planting plan indicating the plant locations and posts shall be submitted to the
Commission’s agent for approval prior to commencement of work.
In accordance with the Required Corrective Action Plan approved by the Conservation Commission on
December 10, 2020, the buffer enhancement work shall be completed within 90 days of approval of the
wetland buffer enhancement plan. Please notify this office upon completion of the planting and seeding
to schedule an inspection.
As required, inspection reports documenting the success of the wetland restoration plantings shall be
submitted to the Conservation Commission on a yearly basis for three (3) years. The inspection reports
shall document a minimum 70% survival of the plantings, any invasive species contro] measures
implemented, and soil stabilization and include photographs of the mitigation area. Annual reports shall
be submitted to the Commission by October 30" of each of the 3 monitoring years.
