1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting commenced at 5:30 PM
2. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 19, 2021 MEETING MINUTES
MOTION: made by D. Campo, seconded by M. Furey-Wagner to approve the minutes of the August 19, 2021
meeting as written.
VOTE: Unanimous
3. DISCUSS WORK COMPLETED BY CONSULTANT TO DATE
Mr. Frost reviewed the concept plan elements including walkways and pedestrian nodes, a boardwalk with water
overlook, pond improvements, playground improvements, landscaping, benches and modifications to the library
parking area. A power point presentation is being prepared to use at the public presentation.
The committee recommended conducting a photo tour of the area to use in the public presentation. A chart
identifying the process for implementation of the concept plan will also be prepared. The results of the on-line
survey and ranking of priority items will be presented.
4, DISCUSS SEPTEMBER 9TM PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
The committee discussed the public presentation of the concept plan scheduled for September 9, 2021.
It was recommended that concept boards be on view at different locations including the high school, library,
community center and town hall.
5. FINALIZE COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE
The previously scheduled meeting of September 23, 2021 at 5:30PM was changed to Wednesday, September 22,
2021. The public hearing will be scheduled for October 14, 2021 at 5:30PM.
6. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Motion made by D. Campo seconded by M. Chiappone to adjourn at 6:44 pm.
