Transaction of Business on the Call:
4. To consider and act upon a motion to discuss strategy and/or negotiations
with respect to multiple bargaining agreements in executive session.
2. To consider and act upon a motion to approve the funds necessary to
implement the Tentative Agreement between the Town of Waterford and
United Public Service Employees Union/Connecticut Organization for
Public Safety Division (UPSEU/COPS) — Waterford Police Union, to be
effective July 1, 2022 — June 30, 2026, and authorize the First Selectman
to sign on the Town’s behalf.
3. To consider and act upon a motion to approve the funds necessary to
implement the Tentative Agreement between the Town of Waterford and
Local 1303-037 of Council #4; American Federation of State, County and
Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, to be effective July 1, 2022 — June 30,
2026, and authorize the First Selectman to sign on the Town’s behalf.

Employees, AFL-CIO
Dear Mr. Moderator:
Please be advised that we have reached Tentative Agreements with United Public Service
Employees Union/Connecticut Organization for Public Safety Division (UPSEU/COPS) —
Waterford Police Union, to be effective July 1, 2022 — June 30, 2026 and with the Local 1303-
037 of Council #4; American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO,
to be effective July 1, 2022 — June 30, 2026.
Therefore, I respectfully request a special meeting of the Representative Town Meeting be called
in order that the RTM consider and act on approving these contracts within the statutorily
allotted time frame.
I will have the Tentative Agreements and the RTM Labor Contract Report Forms available to be
distributed with the Call of the RTM.
