Regular Meeting Minutes  
February 27, 2024 
 
Members Present: Carol Sanders, Joyce Vlaun, Rick Beaney, Dina Lopes, D. Rissi and Anita Collins 
Also Present: Dani Gorman Human Services Administrator, Heidi McSwain, Human Services 
Coordinator, Terry Wheeler, Senior Services Assistant Director, Jen Bracciale, Senior Services Program 
Instructor, Rich Muckle, Selectman  
 
I. 
Call to Order: Carol Sanders called the meeting to order at 4:03pm  
II. 
Establish a Quorum: Quorum was established  
III. 
Public Comment: No public comment  
IV. 
Approval of the minutes from the January 29, 2024 meeting: Motion made by Dan Rissi and 
seconded by Rick Beaney 
Vote (6-0-0)  
V. 
Correspondences: No correspondence  
VI. 
Committee Reports:  
a. Budget: dates and times were given to commission for budget hearing.  
b. Nominating Committee: Letters were signed by nominating committee chair for two 
commission members’ reappointments.  
c. Planned Giving: None  
d. Transportation Sub-committee: Commission was informed about a possible grant 
offered to senior centers from Senior Resources.  
VII. 
Director/Assistant Director Report: Dani Gorman informed the commission that Senior 
Services has been busy with Human Services cases. Terry Wheeler made a presentation 
regarding ARPA application, discussion followed. Dina Lopes made a motion for approval to 
move forward with plans to use ARPA funds for a multimedia space and modifications to 
furniture in the foyer. Rick Beaney seconded motion. 
Vote (6-0-0)
