RTM Moderator Paul Goldstein called the March 31, 2025 Special Meeting of the RepresentStive Town
Meeting to order at 7:02 P.M.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Kyrah Augmon-Bossa, Jennifer Bracciale, Mark Campo, Erica Casper, Mary Childs, Harry
Colonis, Timothy Condon, Thomas J. Dembek, Susan Driscoll, Timothy Fioravanti, Paul Goldstein, Kristen
Gonzalez, Narciss Greene, Ryan Healy, Matthew Keatley, Kate MacKenzie, Shawn Monahan, Ursula>~ ~

CALL ITEM 1 — Modified Motor Vehicle Assessment
PRESENTATION: Assistant Assessor Nicole Serra, Town Attorney Robert Avena
MOTION by Steward-Gelinas, seconded by Keatley, to approve a proposal from the Tax Assessor and
Finance Director to adopt by legislative action the motor vehicle assessment depreciation schedule as
permitted under Connecticut Legislative House Bill HB 7067, as amended in March of 2025, effective for
the October 1, 2024 grand list.
Friendly amendment offered by Driscoll and accepted to read as follows: “MOTION by Steward-Gelinas,
seconded by Keatley, to approve a proposal from the Tax Assessor and Finance Director to adopt by
legislative action the modified motor vehicle assessment depreciation schedule as permitted under
Public Act 25-2, effective for the October 1, 2024, grand list.”
Lengthy discussion ensued.
VOTING IN FAVOR: Bracciale, M. Campo, Colonis, Condon, Dembek, Fioravanti, Goldstein, Keatley,
MacKenzie, Olynciw, Steward-Gelinas

VOTING AGAINST: Augmon-Bossa, Casper, Childs, Driscoll, Gonzalez, Greene, Healy, Monahan,
Moreshead, Mullen, Mullen Kohl.
Sugrue unavailable to vote.
MOTION FAILED: 11-11-0
