PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL PRESENT: Michael Bono, Ryan Healty, Jennifer Bracciale (5:52 pm), Tim Firovanti, Erica Casper ABSENT: None EX-OFFICIO MEMBERS PRESENT: Susan Driscoll RTM Minority Leader ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Director Recreation and Parks Timothy Cieplik PUBLIC COMMENT: Brianna Hogarty - Waterford Little League President spoke to clarify the leagues struggle to maintain its facilities and the need for additional town assistance. Nassim Saad Waterford Little league Field Chair spoke about the types of support that is needed. (Mowing, Trimming etc.) ITEM 5 — July 12, 2023 Meeting Minutes. MOTION by HEALY, seconded by FIORAVANTI, to approve the July 12, 2023 Meeting minutes. MOTION PASSED: 2-0 Casper and Firovanti abstained CALL ITEM 6A — Review of Feral Cat Management, RTC 12/05/2023) MOTION by HEALY, seconded by FIORAVANTI Lengthy discussion by committee ensued around the backup provided by WPD ACO and CT State statutes and OLR report provided by Rep DRISCOL and that there have not been significant complaints of Feral Cat issues since item was referred. MOTION by HEALY, seconded by FIORAVANTI to refer the item out of the committee and recommend to the RTM no action. CALL ITEM 6B — Review of Creation of a Special Revenue Fund, RTC 04/07/2025 MOTION by HEALY, seconded by FIORAVANTI Lengthy discussion of the need for further support for town co-sponsored programs exist. Rep BRACCIALLE arrived MOTION by FIORAVANTI, seconded by HEALY That the Public Health, Recreation & Environment Standing Committee of the RTM recommends to report to the full RTM that they direct the finance Director, in conjunction with the board of Finance, to Review the issue and move forward with establishing a special revenue account to address Hoelck Park field rental and maintenance. MOTION PASSED: Unanimous MOTION by FIORVANTI, seconded by CASPER, to adjourn at 6:14 P.M. VOTING IN FAVOR: Unanimous Respectfully Submitted, Michael Bono Chair
