Present: Cheryl Larder, Jennifer Kohl, Danielle Steward-Gelinas, Kevin Gherd (Chair)
Michael Rocchetti. Others Present: Susan Driscoll (RTM/Public), Bigi Ebbin (Democratic
Registrar of Voters), Patti Waters (Republican Registrar of Voters)
4,) Public Comment: No. public comments at. this time. Committee allowed Susan Driscoll to
provide some context and commentary during the discussion of Item 6.
5.) Consider and Act upon the January 20, 2022 Special Meeting Minutes
a.) Mation to approve: Danielle Steward-Gelinas, Seconded by Jennifer Kohl
b.) Motion Passed Unanimously
6.) Consideration and possible action on item referred to committee: A. Salaries of
Registrars of Voters (RTC 12-05-2022)
a.) Ms. Waters and Ms. Ebbin provided the committee with ati overview of their
duties, hours worked during nof-election seasons and during election seasons.
They also described. a number of mitigating factors causing an Increased
workload in this office.
b.) Significant discussion was had by the committee.and Ms. Driscoll.
c:) Clause in CT Constitution was discussed and committee felt additional research
needed by town counsel.
d.) No-action taken.
7.) Motion to Adjourn; Michael Rocchetti, Second Danielle Steward-Gelinas - Adjourned
