RE: Special Election for RTM District 4 Vacancy
49
Dear Mr. Campo,
ce
Poel
O
On behalf of the Waterford Democratic Town Committee, I submit the following slate of candidates to
fill the vacancy created by the recent resignation of RTM District 4 Representative Jerry Fischer:
Erica Casper
5 Mago Boulevard
Waterford, CT 06385
721-631-2099; ericacasper1 @gmail.com
Mariette Ogg
8 Goundry Drive
Waterford, CT 06385
860-514-0550; mariette.c.ogg@gmail.com
Ocean Pellett
15 Forest Street
Waterford, CT 06385
860-440-0762; oceanpellet(@yahoo.com
While the DTC believes all three individuals are well-qualified to serve the remainder of the term that
ends in November 2025, Erica Casper is the preferred candidate for this position. She has an M.S. in
Marine Biology, is an active supporter and former coach of Waterford Little League and Soccer, has a
strong desire to learn more about issues that impact our citizens, and considers service on the RTM a way
to give back to the community. In addition, as the next-highest vote-getter on the slate (only three below
Jerry), we believe electing Erica to fill this seat would best reflect the will of the District 4 voters.
Sincerely,

Cathy Barnard
Chair, Waterford DTC
