1. CALL TO ORDER AND APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
G. Massad called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. No alternates were seated but were available for
discussion
2. DISCUSSION AND REVIEW OF DRAFT ELEMENTS OF THE PLAN OF
CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Rory Jacobson, FHI Studio was present. The Commission reviewed the proposed Sections 1, 2, 3, 4,
5 and 8 of the Draft POCD.
The Commission directed that the Housing Section to be more focused on housing in general but to
still highlight some of the specific housing needs in Town. They asked that the information in the
section be verified and updated with the most recent data available and that the figures all checked for
accuracy.
The Commission reviewed the Community Services Section and offered suggestions to the consultant
relative to the layout and narratives describing the various services. They discussed the need for
more access to water resources.
The Commission discussed the Economic Development Section and wanted it to be expanded upon.
Various focus areas across Town were discussed. The area near the 95/395 triangle, the potential
repurpose of the Crystal Mall area and Seaside was discussed and asked to be focused pages.
R. Jacobsen stated that she will update the sections with the comments received.

MOTION: Motion made by V. Ebersole, seconded by k. Barnett, to adjourn the meeting at 6:20
PM.
