WATERFORD RECREATION AND PARKS SPECIAL MEETING APRIL 13, 2021 – 4:00PM – ZOOM Chairperson Santos called the meeting to order at 4:00pm with a roll call. In attendance: Chairperson Santos, Cm. Gardiner, Erricson, Whelan, Scheiber, Murphy, Hall and Beaney. Absent: Cm Chiappone Staff in attendance: Director Flaherty and Program Coordinator Sullivan Absent: Assistant Director McNamara Motion #1: Made by Bill Whelan seconded by R. Erricson to open the floor to discussion. So voted 8-0 Commission members had a number of questions and concerns. Motion #2: Made by Cm. Gardiner seconded by Cm. Hall: To accept the draft of Ordinance 12.08.040 dated March 26, 2021 – Alcoholic beverages. Yes votes: Cm. Murphy, Whelan and Beaney No votes: Ch. Santos, Cm Gardiner, Hall, Erricson and Scheiber Motion failed. Motion #3: Made by Cm Whelan seconded by Cm Erricson to adjourn, so voted 8-0 meeting ended at 4:41pm.
