ETHICS COMMISION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES RECEIVED FOR RECORD 2023 JAN-b AI 44 Members Present: Betsy Ritter, Alternate Laurie Wolfley Alexa Massad Adam Stone Marty Zeldis Christopher Nailon Absent: Naomi Mendelovicz, Alternate 1. Call to Order. The January 3, 2023 Regular Meeting of the Ethics Commission was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chairlady Ritter. Ms. Ritter recognized Marty Zeldis who served three full terms on the Ethics Commission. He is unable to serve another term. She thanked him for his service. Mr. Campo, Waterford Town Clerk, also thanked him. 2. Attendance. A quorum was established. 3. To consider and act upon the minutes of the October 11, 2022 meeting. MOTION (1): Adam Stone moved to approve the October 11, 2022 Regular Meeting Minutes of the Ethics Commission, as presented. Seconded by Marty Zeldis. Mr. Zeldis abstained from voting. (4-0-1) Motion carried. 4. Review of correspondence. A. FY 2024 Budget Request. Ms. Ritter distributed the fiscal year 2024 Ethics Commission Budget Request. She will inform commission members of the budget hearing dates. B. FY 2022 Annual Report. Ms. Ritter distributed the fiscal year 2022 Annual Report. 5. Old Business. A. Ethics Commission Records. Ms. Ritter plans to schedule a Special Meeting date for commission members to review all available records for the Ethics Commission. Christopher Nailon arrived. Ms. Ritter spoke to four previous chairpersons of the Ethics Commission. She suggested cataloging our records. . New Business. Ms. Ritter informed the commission that she and Adam Stone’s terms of service expires on February 6, 2023. Date for Next Meeting. The next regularly scheduled meeting of this Commission will be held on April 4, 2023 at 7 p.m. . ADJOURNMENT. MOTION (2): Laurie Wolfley moved to adjourn the January 3, 2023 Ethics Commission Regular Meeting at 7:15 p.m. Seconded by Adam Stone. (6-0) Unanimous.
