3. Minutes from May 3, 2023 regular meeting approved
e Approved by Fred Wise — Seconded by John Jamroga
4. Harbor Masters Report
a) Continuing to respond to calls about pulled moorings
b) Attended meeting with the Town of Old Lyme and Town of Old Saybrook dealing
with the Army Corp of Engineers (ACOE) and shoaling/dredging. Correspondence
regarding the meeting/issues will be sent to the HMC. The Town of Waterford HMC
may require assistance from the ACOE to dredge the shoaling that is occurring in the
channel in the vicinity of the “21” and “22” buoys in the Niantic River
c) Discussed an “online mooring permit system” and explained why it would not be
suitable for the Town Of Waterford HMC at this time

b) Discussed status of Waterford/East Lyme boundary line in Niantic River

a) Certificate of Permission —- 19 Oswegatchie Road —- APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY
b) Certificate of Permission —- 16 Oswegatchie Road —- APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY
c) Certificate of Permission — 5 Shawandassee Road ~ APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY
d) Discussed adjusting mooring permit rates for the 2024 season to match those that
East Lyme is currently charging
e) Discussed contacting East Lyme mooring permit hoiders whose moorings are located
in the waters of the Town of Waterford and informing them that in 2024 their
mooring will need to be permitted by the Town of Waterford
