PROCEDURE: The Board of Selectmen will hear budget requests in accordance
with the below agenda for the Budget meeting, which begins at 4:00pm:
The Board of Selectmen to consider and act on the following proposed budgets and
at the appropriate time forward to the Board of Finance for its consideration of and
action on the FY27 Budgets:
A. Call to Order & Roll Call: 4:01 PM
In Attendance: First Selectman, Robert Brule; Selectman, Rich Muckle; and
Selectman, Greg Attanasio, 4:05 PM
B. Pledge of Allegiance
C. Public Comment: Michael Buscetto ~ looking for clarity why Selectman
Attanasio voted against him for participating in Youth Services.
D. Consider and act on the following budget requests:
Standing Motion: was made by Selectman, Rich Muckle and seconded by Selectman,
Greg Attanasio to tentatively approve the budget requests for FY27.
4. Ethics Commission-.To consider and act on the proposed FY27 Ethics
Commission budget request in the amount of $900.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to move #2 Ethics up to #1 on
the Agenda. VOTE 3-0
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $900. VOTE 3-0
2. Zoning Board of Appeals - To consider and act on the proposed FY27
Zoning Board of Appeals budget request in the amount of $4,310.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $4,310. VOTE 3-0

3. Flood and Erosion Control Board - To consider and act on the
proposed FY27 Flood and Erosion Control Board budget request in the
amount of $1,104.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $1,104. VOTE 3-0
4. Planning & Zoning - To consider and act on the proposed FY27
Planning & Zoning Budget request in the amount of $699,654.
MOTION by Attanasio, seconded by Muckle for discussion to increase the
amount proposed to add a full-time position by $60,000.
VOTE 1-2 MOTION FAILED
For: Attanasio
Against: Muckle, Brule
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $699,654. VOTE 3-0
5. Conservation Commission - To consider and act on the proposed
FY27 Conservation Commission budget request in the amount of
$18,250.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $18,250. VOTE 3-0
6. Economic Development Commission - To consider and act on the
proposed FY27 Economic Development Commission budget request
in the amount of $25,407.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $25,407. VOTE 3-0
