PROCEDURE: The Board of Selectmen will hear budget requests in accordance
with the below agenda for the Budget meeting, which begins at 4:00pm:
The Board of Selectmen to consider and act on the following proposed budgets and
at the appropriate time forward to the Board of Finance for its consideration of and
action on the FY27 Budgets:
A. Call to Order & Roll Call: 4:02 PM
In Attendance: First Selectman, Robert Brule and Selectman, Rich Muckle
Late: Selectman, Greg Attanasio, 4:01 PM
B. Pledge of Allegiance
C. Public Comment: NONE
D. Consider and act on the following budget requests:
Standing Motion: was made by Selectman, Rich Muckle and seconded by Selectman,
Greg Attanasio to tentatively approve the budget requests for FY27.
J. Recreation & Parks Commission - To consider and act on the
proposed FY27 Recreation & Parks Commission budget request in the
amount of $1,608,405.
MOTION by Attanasio to increase the amount proposed to add a full-time
Maintainer II by $60,000. No Second, MOTION FAILED
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $1,608,405. VOTE 3-0
2. Public Works Department - To consider and act on the proposed
FY27 Public Works Department budget request in the amount of
. $5,312,218.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total

budget request in the amount of $5,312,218. VOTE 3-0
3. Building Maintenance - To consider and act on the proposed FY27
Building Maintenance budget request in the amount of $1,217,876.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to move #4 Building
Maintenance up to #3 on the Agenda. VOTE 3-0
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $1,217,876. VOTE 3-0
4, Building Department - To consider and act on the proposed FY27
Building Department budget request in the amount of $355,537.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to move #5 Building
Department up to #4 on the Agenda. VOTE 3-0
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $355,537. VOTE 3-0
5. Fire Services - To consider and act on the proposed FY27 Fire Services
budget request in the amount of $4,345,218.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
budget request in the amount of $4,345,218. VOTE 3-0
6. Finance Department - To consider and act on the proposed FY27
Finance Department budget request in the amount of $805,507.
MOTION by Muckle, seconded by Attanasio to tentatively approve a total
