Nye, seconded by P. Crotty to accept the minutes of the meeting of May 9,2023. Voting in favor: Unanimous Public Comment: No public comments Waterford Historic Properties: Ongoing Maintenance- R. Nye described recent discussion with First Selectman Rob Brule in which he outlined the history of Town ownership of the Nevins Cottage and efforts to return the structure to a usable state. He also mentioned the Park House , the Hall of Records, the Cohanzie School and the Secchiaroli Barn. It was brought up again that the Town would benefit from someone to assist with grant writing for these projects as well as a consulting preservation professional. Waterford Historical Society Happenings- No report Eugene O’Neill Theater Center- J. O’Neill reported that specs for the roof bid were due in a few weeks. Cemeteries-P. Crotty has installed signs at Durfey Hill, Harris and Gorton cemeteries. Needed tree work at Durfey was discussed. P. Crotty also mentioned he had had positive feedback from people he encountered working at these cemeteries and we talked again about marshalling this support to create a historic cemetery group. Plan of preservation, Conservation and Development-Draft should be coming soon. Other- No other business Adjournment: Motion by R. Nye, seconded by P.
