owned historic properties for the new members present.
Waterford Historical Society Happenings: Nothing new was reported.
Nevins Cottage: David Cavasino, representing the recently formed “Friends of Nevins
Cottage”, reported on the group’s work to date. They are forming a 501(c)(3)
organization. They plan to fundraise the money needed to restore the building to its
presentation of 150 years ago while upgrading things such as heat and eliminating
plaster walls. Once completed, the plan is to rent out the space with the intent of

a certificate of appropriateness from this commission will need to be obtained before
any work is done.
