1. CALL TO ORDER/APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
E. Lusher seated J. Greco for E. Aledia and G. Attanasio for Vacancy. The meeting was called
to order at 5:05 pm.
2s APPROVAL OF MINUTES - October 13, 2022 Meeting
MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco, seconded by L. Sollima, to approve the minutes
of the October 13, 2022 meeting.
VOTE: 5-0
3: REVIEW OF SMALL BUSINESS GRTANT APPLICATIONS AND AWARD OF GRANTS:
The Commission discussed the applications in general. There were eight applications that
were complete as submitted for review. B. Regine Walston described the review process with
the Commission. The Commission then reviewed and discussed each of the following
applications individually:
A Cut Above Hair Design, LLC
The Commission reviewed this application.
MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco and seconded by L. Sollima to award the
applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Operational Expenses as
described in the application.
VOTE: 5-0
Mike & Melissa, LLC dba Utopia Salon
The Commission reviewed this application.
MOTION: Motion made by G. Russo and seconded by J. Greco to award the
applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Capital Investments as
described in the application.

The Commission reviewed this application.
MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco and seconded by G. Attanasio to award the
applicants request for $8,500.00 to be used for Marketing and
Communications as described in the application.

The Commission reviewed this application.
MOTION: Motion made by G. Russo and seconded by G. Attanasio to award the
applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Capital Investments as
described in the application.

MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco and seconded by L. Sollima to award the
applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Operational Expenses as
described in the application.

applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Marketing and
Communications as described in the application.

The Commission reviewed this application.
MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco and seconded by L. Sollima to award the
applicants request for $10,000.00 to be used for Capital Investment as

The Commission discussed the process with B. Regine Walston and potential considerations
for future installments of the Small Business Grant Program. They thanked her for her support
and assistance throughout the process for this portion of the program.
4. REVIEW OF THE PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET
A copy of the proposed 2024 draft budget was distributed to the Commission for review. The
Commission will act on forwarding the budget to the Board of Selectman at the next meeting.
REVIEW OF THE 2021/2022 ANNUAL REPORT
The Commission reviewed the annual report for Fiscal year 2021/2022.
MOTION: Motion made by J. Greco and seconded by G. Attanasio to approve the FY
2021/2022 Annual Report of the Economic Development Commission.
VOTE: 4-0-1 (G. Russo abstain)
MOTION: Motion made by L. Sollima and seconded by J. Greco to add the review and
approval of the Economic Development Commission 2023 meeting schedule to
the agenda.
VOTE: 5-0
The Commission reviewed the proposed 2023 meeting schedule.
MOTION: Motion made by L. Sollima and seconded by J. Greco to approve the
Economic Development Commission proposed 2023 meeting schedule as
submitted.
VOTE: 5-0
5. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Motion made by G. Attanasio and seconded by G. Russo to adjourn the
meeting at 6:08.
