A quorum was established and a call to order was established at 3:01 pm,
April 21, 2020.
Public Hearing of all Town budgets for Fiscal Year 2020/2021
Chairman Fedor requested comments from the public on the budget.
Public Comments: Please see the attached Public Comments from Helen
Kwasniewski.
Motion by John Sheehan and seconded by Tali Maidelis to adjourn the public
hearing at 3:09 pm.

Motion for John Sheehan and seconded by Mark Geer to hear the appeal of the
Waterford East Lyme Shellfish Commission (WELSCO):

To accept the Appeal of WELSCO (Waterford East Lyme Shellfish Commission)
from the Board of Selectmen to increase their request by $3,500 deleted from
their budget.

Motion by John Sheehan and seconded by Mark Geer to approve the total budget of
$96,460,253 to forward to the RTM.

7. Chairman Fedor wanted to thank everyone for their patience in this process.
Also, John Sheehan wanted everyone to know that even though there is an
increase in the Grand List, and a 1.25% increase in the budget there is a 0% tax
increase.

Motion by John Sheehan and seconded by Mark Geer to adjourn the Budget
Meeting of the Board of Finance at 4:10 p.m.
