C-20-14 14B Shore Road — Request to Increase Paved Width of Driveway and Modify Culvert
Crossing with Longer Pipe — Killingly Engineering Associates, Agent
Ian Cole was present on behalf of the applicant to review the modification request. He explained
that increasing the paved width of the driveway does not result in additional wetland disturbance.
The proposed modification to the driveway culvert involves increasing the length of the culvert
from 24 feet to 40 feet and elimination of the headwall and wingwalls. The modification
involves 300 square feet of additional wetland disturbance. Mr. Cole noted the wetland culvert is
located in a previously disturbed area and the 300 square feet of disturbance is mitigated by the
area of wetland creation being constructed on the property.
R. Muckle deferred the role of the chair to T. Maidelis due to problems with his audio
connection.
Commission members discussed the modification request. Staff noted that a plan has not been
submitted showing the proposed changes.
