3. COMMISSION PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES:
a. Active Economic Development and Policy Advancements
— Updated email addresses for Data Base
- Accept notes from Ivan & Ed — Eric to update
b. Business / Government Relations, Operations and Personnel
— WEDC Membership —
- Spoke to Stephanie and she is eager to stay
- Rob will make decisions on extending current membership
@ Members that terms have expired Ed, Rich, & Ivan
— Met with Rob Brule — will start attending meetings periodically, eager to partner
with all commissions for common good
- Rework town website related to EDC, remove unrelated links, add
new if needed
- Write new “ABOUT” maybe rename — show Groton site
— Sat in on Commercial Realtor Meeting at SeCTer
- They strongly dislike our past process, review meeting
d. 2020 EDC Calendar
- Organizing a meeting with Commercial Realtors to open our new process, extend
olive branch — date TBD as I am working with Nancy C @ SeCTer
- attendees will be EDC members, Selectman, Mark & Abby
- open discussion relating to topics for Waterford Businesses
