Disposition of Town Property (Ordinance, Chapter 2.112.020):
4a. To Consider and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett,
Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Police Department to dispose of the asset
below:

MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous
VOTE:3-0
4b. To Consider and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett,
Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Board of Education to surplus for
disposal of the asset below by auction:
e 2011 Ford F250 Asset ID: BOE 1
MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous
VOTE:3-0

5. Assessor: To consider and act on the following request for an additional
appropriation from the Board of Assessment & Appeals (BAA) in the
amount of $1,500 to line item 10105-51010, to add two additional/alternate
members to the BAA to assist in hearing taxpayers’ appeals during the
March 2023 BAA session and to temporarily increase the pay to $300 a
member due to anticipated additional meetings that will be needed, and
forward to the BOF.
MOTION to TABLE agenda item #5 by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia,
VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous VOTE:3-0
6. Finance Department Bid Award- Building Permit Plan Review and
Inspection Services #23-105; To consider and act on a recommendation
from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent on behalf of the Planning
Department, to approve a Bid Award to Plan Review Services LLC, Funds
shall be available from line item 10118-52030 Professional Fees
MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Brule, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous
VOTE:2-1
7. Finance Department Bid Award- Condition Assessment, Design and
Contract Administration Roof and Building “Hammond Mansion” at
Eugene O’ Neill Theater Center #22-135: To consider and act on a
recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent on behalf of the
Public Works Department, to approve a Bid Award to Silver Petrucelli and
Associates in the amount of $21,600. Funds shall be available from line
item 31122-55893 Eugene O’Neil Roof Replacement

8a. To consider and act on the reappointment of Traci Santos to the
Recreation & Parks Commission for the term of 9/1/22 to 8/31/2025.

Summer Academy and Extended Year Program
Waterford School District
Grade level/Age Range of Students in Program: PK-12; Student Enrollment: 265; Staff Enrollment: 67
PRIMARY STUDENT NEEDS PROGRAM IS
DESIGNED TO ADDRESS:
The program was designed to help students
maintain skills in Math and ELA ina fun
learning environment. To do this, teachers
instructed using curriculum based standards
and practices. This approach was selected to
ensure that best practices were employed
and students were familiar with the
instructional routines.
The program had an application component
in science and social studies through “Guest
Teacher” classes, Personnel from local and
regional organizations and agencies added
dynamic components to summer learning.
Art and PE classes were also offered.
Most Innovative or Successful
Elements of the Program
% Very favorable ratios of adults to students facilitated
high levels of individualization.
# The program benefitted from the participation of
40 high school students who had been vetted and
trained, They were fulfilling their LTS requirement
{Learning Through Service). Some students were
exploring possible career interests in education.
Guest Teachers” —Community partners helped
to enrich the learning and provide application
experiences in content areas.
