MINUTES BOARD OF SELECTMEN Special Meeting Thursday, June 24, 2021 3:00pm ma Waterford Town Hall 3 (Procedural Action: Check register to be signed by Board of Selectmen in accordance with CGS 7-83) Members Present: First Selectman Robert Brule and Selectwoman Elizabeth Sabilia, and Selectwoman Jody Nazarchyk. — 1. Call to order-- First Selectman Brule called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Finance Department: BID REJECTION (HP Z2 Workstations) — To consider and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, on behalf of Brett Mahoney, IT Committee Chair. It is recommended that the one bid received be rejected due to cost ($75,072.60). The one bid received is above the amount approved and available. MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia to approve the request as stated, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous VOTE:3-0 4, Finance Department: BID AWARD (Town Center Park Improvements, Pond Boardwalk and Trails) — To consider and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, on behalf of Abby Piersall, Planning Director. It is recommended that the Bid be awarded to Kent and Frost in the amount of $32,180. MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia to approve the request as stated, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous VOTE:3-0 5. Finance Department: COOPERATIVE PURCHASING (HP Workstations) —- To consider and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, in keeping with Section 3.08.010 of the Purchasing Ordinance to utilize the MHEC state contract to purchase 28 HP Workstations from ePlus in the amount of $35,141.40. MOTION by Nazarchyk, and seconded by Sabilia to approve the request as stated, VOTING IN FAVOR: unanimous VOTE:3-0 6. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, and upon a motion made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia, the Meeting of the Board of Selectmen was adjourned at 4:21 pm.
