Board Members Present: Marilyn Lusher, Chair; Jerry Porter, and Lee Couture (arrived late, present
from second appointment on)
Staff Present: Jessica Hewitt, Secretary
The Board of Assessment Appeals met on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The meeting was called to order
at 5:07pm.
‘A motion was made by Jerry Porter and seconded by Marilyn Lusher to approve the meeting minutes
from the September 11, 2024 motor vehicle session. All in favor, the motion passed.
‘Amotion was made by Jerry Porter and seconded by Marilyn Lusher to cancel the Board of Assessment
‘Appeals meeting scheduled for Saturday March 22,2025 due to lack of need. All in favor, the motion
passed.
‘Amotion was made by Marilyn Lusher and seconded by Jerry Porter to schedule a special meeting of the
Board of Assessment Appeals for Wednesday April 23,2025 at 5:00pm to comply with the extended
deadline to file an appeal pursuant to House Bill 7067 (Public Act 25-2). All in favor, the motion passed.
‘Appointments were conducted as scheduled and the following decisions were made:
1, Modern Dental Arts
Decision: Lee not preset, remaining Board members voted unanimously. Tabled for further
review. Appellant to submit new declaration to Assessor's Office.
2. 10 Lanyard Lane
Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Tabled for further review.
3. Lisa Faber- Personal Property
Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Tabled for further review. Appellant to submit new
declaration to Assessor's Office.
4. 9 Eighth Avenue
Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Tabled for further review.

$995,000.

Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Tabled for further review. Appellant to submit new
declaration to Assessor's Office.

Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Remove docks from Assessment. New assessment

Decision: The Board voted unanimously. Remove Shed and Generator from assessment. New
