Members Present: First Selectman Robert Brule; Selectwoman Jody Nazarchyk and
Selectwoman Elizabeth Sabilia.
1. Call to Order & Roll Call First Selectman Brule called the meeting to order
at 5:00 pm.

3. Public Comment:
4. _ Finance Department: BID AWARD - To consider and act on a
recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, of behalf of
Brett Mahoney, Chief of Police, for a Bid Award in the amount of
$45,728.75 to cover aftermarket equipment for five new police vehicles.
Funds will be made available in LI # 24207-54070.
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to approve the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0

5. Disposition of Asset #001850 2002 Canon Copier: To consider
and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, on
behalf of Ryan McNamara, Recreation & Parks Department, to dispose of
asset #001850, 2002 Canon Copier, in accordance with Chapter 3.08.020,
section 2.112.020 of the Ordnance.
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to approve the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0
6. Appointments and Resignations:
6a. To consider and accept on the Resignation of Melissa Guarnieri (R)
from the Recreation & Parks Commission.
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to accept the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0
6b. To consider and accept on the Resignation of Aspasia Kanabis (D)
from the Recreation & Parks Commission.
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to accept the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0
6c. To consider and act on the appointment of Melissa Chiappone (U) to
the Recreation & Parks Commission to fill the term from 9/1/2020 -
8/31/2023,
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to approve the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0
6d. To consider and act on the re-appointment of Richard Erricson Sr. (U)
to the Recreation & Parks Commission to fill the term from 9/1/2020 -
8/31/2023,
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to approve the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0

6e. To consider and act on the First Selectman’s appointment of Edward
Rochetti as the Town of Waterford Parking and Towing Violation Hearing
Officer in accordance with Waterford Code of Ordinances 10.09.030.
MOTION was made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia to approve the
request as stated. VOTE: 3-0
7. Disposition of Town Property (Ordinance, Chapter 2.112.020):
7a. Disposition of Asset #001850 2002 Canon Copier: To consider
and act on a recommendation from Rawle Dummett, Purchasing Agent, on
behalf of Ryan McNamara, Recreation & Parks Department, to dispose of
asset #001850, 2002 Canon Copier, in accordance with Chapter 3.08.020,
section 2.112.020 of the Ordnance.
MOTION was made by Ms. Sabilia to remove agenda item 7-7a and seconded by Ms.
Nazarchyk. VOTE: 3-0
8. Correspondence:
8a. Discuss to review petition from Quaker Hill Fire Department on
December 15, 2020
8b. Discuss to review CAD data from last quarter on December 15, 2020
9. New Business
9a Updated Board of Selectman Budget Hearing Schedule FY 21/22
9b Holiday Decorating December 5, 2020 from 9a-12p (weather permitting)
10. Consent Agenda:
10a. Meeting Minutes 11/10/2020-Approved
10b. Meeting Minutes 11/17/2020 (amendment made to correct date on
11/17/2020 agenda) Approved
11. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, and
upon a motion made by Ms. Nazarchyk and seconded by Ms. Sabilia, the Meeting of the
Board of Selectmen was adjourned at 5:46 pm.
