PRESENT: Vice Chairman Mark Gelinas, Commissioner Christopher Gamble, Commissioner Rob Brule
DEPARTMENT: Chief Brett Mahoney, Sgt. David Ferland, Detective Leigh Bonkowski
CANDIDATES: James Bartlett, Nicholas Cardelle, Drew Daley, Kyle McComic.
CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISH A QUORUM: Vice Chairman Mark Gelinas called the meeting to order and a
quorum was established at 5:07 PM.
PUBLIC INPUT: No public input
Motion: Commissioner Chris Gamble made a motion to enter into executive session for the purpose of conducting
Police Officer Interviews at 5:10pm. Commissioner Rob Brule Seconded the motion, motion passed. Chief
Mahoney, Sgt. David Ferland, and The four candidates were included in the executive session.
The Board came out of executive session at 6:24pm, no votes or actions were taken while in Executive session.
MOTION: Commissioner Chris Gamble made a motion to establish a hiring list with the top candidate being hired
for the current vacancy. The list is subject to the candidate successfully completing the hiring process, and
background investigations. The order of the list shall be in effect for one year of this meeting. The top candidate is
James Bartlett. The others are held on a list promulgated by the Waterford Police Department. The list is as
follows:

3. Nicholas Cardelle
4. Drew Daley
MOTION: Commissioner Chris Gamble made a motion to adjourn, the motion was seconded by Commissioner Rob
Brule at 6:42 pm, the motion passed unanimously.
