FLOOD & EROSION CONTROL BOARD
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 21, 2026

CALL TO ORDER Mr. Hart called the Flood & Erosion Control Board Regular Meeting of September 21, 2026 to order at 6:00 p.m. The pledge was observed.

NEW BUSINESS
Meeting on Alewife Cove: Co-Refining Solutions 8/20/26 10 a.m. to noon @ New London
Recreation Center, 1 Recreation Way, New London, CT. No Board member was able to attend this meeting.

OLD BUSINESS 
CT ECO Map. Past flooding in the area of Old Norwich Road was discussed.

Climate Change Risk Vulnerability, Risk Assessment and Adaptation Study. Copies of the Climate Change Risk Vulnerability, Risk Assessment and Adaptation Study. Mr. Hart asked Board members to look at what has been happening year after year.
	
PLANS REVIEW No plans were received.

CORRESPONDENCE 

The year-to-date Flood & Erosion Control Board budget report for July, 2026 was received and reviewed.

PAYMENT OF BILLS There were no new bills received.

APPROVAL OF JUNE 15, 2026 MEETING MINUTES OF THE FLOOD AND EROSION CONTROL BOARD
MOTION (1): Ms. McKenzie moved to approve the June 15, 2026 Meeting Minutes
		   of the Flood & Erosion Control Board, as presented. Seconded by 
   Ms. Darling. (3-0) Unanimous.

	ADJOURNMENT


MOTION (2): Ms. McKenzie moved to adjourn the Flood & Erosion Control Board		
   September 21, 2026 Regular Meeting at 6:40 p.m. Seconded by 
   Ms. Darling. (3-0) Unanimous.
