THE WATERFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY will be
transferred to the Town of Waterford from the
Waterford Public Library, Inc., at the Representa-
tive Town Meeting June 6 at Clark Lane Junior
High School. The town contributed to the costs of
the new building. An additional grant, $4,400, from
Gardiner Lauded by RTM
For Town’s New Library
THE DAY, NEW LONDON, CONN., SATURDAY, 
MAY 28, 1966
the town to the library for operating expenses, will
be considered at the meeting, as well as a Board of
Finance recommendation for the transfer of $108,500
from the reserve fund for Capital and Non-Recurring
Expenditures for payment of the town’s library notes,
