TOWN OF WATERFORD ASSESSOR’S OFFICE 15 ROPE FERRY ROAD WATERFORD, CT 06385-2886 (860) 444-5820 2026 Revaluation Property Inspections The residential property inspection phase of the 2026 revaluation is currently underway. Staff members from Vision Government Solutions Inc. will be visiting properties beginning in June and throughout the summer to verify property data and improvements made resulting from building permits pulled by property owners in the past year. Please note that Vision property inspectors will be wearing photo identification badges, be carrying a letter of identification from the Assessor’s Office, and their vehicles will be on file with the Assessor’s Office and the Waterford Police Department. All property owners and tenants are respectfully requested to cooperate with data collectors to insure that accurate information is used in the revaluation process. Property owners with general questions concerning the revaluation program, or who wish to verify the identity or authorization of a Vision Government Solutions data collector may contact either the Assessor’s Office at 860-444-5820 or the Waterford Police Department at 860-442-9451. It is the goal of the Waterford Assessor’s Office to keep the public informed of the progress of the revaluation throughout the entire process. Notices of New Value – Effective 10/1/2026, will be mailed to all property owners by mid-late November 2026. Property owners will have to opportunity to schedule an informal hearing to review their new property values with a revaluation staff member in December 2026 before values are finalized.
