CALL TO ORDER AND APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATES
The meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m. I. Plis was seated for the vacant seat.

APPROVAL OF THE April 27, 2023 MEETING MINUTES
Motion: 
Motion made by D. Lersch, second by T. Maidelis to approve the April 27, 2023 meeting
minutes.
Vote: 
4-0-1 (W. Thomas abstained)
APPROVAL OF THE May 18, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Action postponed to later in the agenda due to lack of quorum of members who attended the special
meeting.

NEW APPLICATIONS
C-23-02, 20 Butlertown Road: Request for Permit Re-Issuance #C 17-02, garage
Matt Kobyluck, Owner/Applicant
Staff reviewed the application for re-issuance of the previous permit for construction of a garage and
Section 12.2 of the regulations regarding permit renewals.
Motion: 
Motion made by W. Thomas, second by T. Maidelis to approve permit C 23-02 re-issuing
the previous permit C 17-02.

VIOLATIONS
407 Boston Post Road: Unauthorized Fill Within and Adjacent to Inland Wetlands & Watercourses
Review restoration completion.

Staff reviewed photos of the completed restoration area.
Motion: 
Motion made by T. Maidelis, second by D. Lersch to find the violation has been
corrected and to close the violation.

47 Great Neck Road: Unauthorized Activity Within Inland Wetlands & Watercourses
Restoration to be completed by 5/31/2023
Staff will give a status report at the next meeting

577 Vauxhall Street Extension: Unauthorized Activity Within Inland Wetlands & Watercourses
Restoration plan to be submitted by 5/27/2023
Staff summarized discussions with the property owner and noted the patio is mostly on property owned
by the City of New London. The owner has been advised to submit a plan for restoration to the
Commission.
