MEETING MINUTES Waterford Conservation Commission February 27, 2025, 6:30 p.m. Auditorium, Waterford Town Hall Members Present: Keith Kriet, David Lersch, Tali Maidelis, Richard Muckle, Geneva Renegar, Wade Thomas Members Absent: Ivy Plis Alternates Present: David DeNoia Alternates Absent: Matthew Shea Staff Present: Maureen FitzGerald, Environmental Planner 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman R. Muckle at 6:30 p.m. D. DeNoia was seated for I. Plis. 2. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES Motion: Made by T. Maidelis, seconded by K. Kriet to approve the February 13, 2025 meeting minutes. Vote: 6-0-1 [R. Muckle abstaining] 3. NEW APPLICATIONS No new applications were received. 4. APPLICATION REVIEW C-25-03: 28 Old Barry Road — Request for Permitted Use - Section 4.2.b — Replace footbridge over stream channel, install (2) 2ft. x 3t. concrete pads to support span: Owner/ Applicant — Waterford Land Trust [T. Maidelis, D. DeNoia and D. Lersch recused themselves from this application. ] Staff reviewed a February 20, 2025 memorandum and draft permit with the Commission. Motion: Made by W. Thomas seconded by K. Kriet to find the bridge installation is a regulated activity and to approve draft permit C-25-03 as written. Vote: 4-0-3 [T. Maidelis, D. Lersch, D. DeNoia recused]. [T. Maidelis, D. DeNoia, D. Lersch rejoined the meeting. ] 5. OTHER BUSINESS Review of Staff Determination of no regulated activity, 26 Lincoln Rd, in-ground pool building application The Commission reviewed the building permit application and site location map. Motion: Made by T. Maidelis, seconded by W. Thomas that the pool installation does not involve regulated activity. Vote: 7-0 D.
