Town of Waterford Conservation Commission,
Dear Ms. Fitzgerald and Members of the Conservation Commission,
On behalf of Adams Builders, LLC, we respectfully request approval for temporary access to 11
Country Club Road along the southerly property line for limited investigative work.
Permit C-17-10 was previously granted for temporary machinery crossing and selective
vegetation cutting. The proposed work is similar in nature and scope. Access is proposed from
the south side of the property, which will result in less overall wetland disturbance. The
temporary machinery crossing will be approximately 75 linear feet and 20 feet wide, located
between wetland flags WF-199 and WF-196.
No excavation of soil within the wetlands is proposed. The purpose of this access is to allow for
the excavation of test pits in upland areas only, as required to determine septic system suitability
for the proposed development and to satisfy the requirements of the Ledge Light Health District.
Previous test pits on the site were determined to be unsatisfactory and were located in
questionable areas. The proposed test pits will be conducted in a new upland location to obtain
accurate and reliable subsurface information.
All work will be temporary in nature, and conducted in full compliance with applicable
conservation and environmental requirements. No permanent disturbance is proposed, and any
areas temporarily impacted will be fully restored in accordance with Conservation Commission
standards upon completion of the work.

I, Dave Mortimer, am the owner of property located at 28 Lamphere road, Waterford, CT also
know as Great Neck Country Club.
I hereby grant permission to Adams Builders LLC, its agents, engineers, contractors, and
representatives, to access my property for the purpose of conducting tést holes, soil testing,
septic investigations, and any other tésting or exploratory work required by the Town or its
reviewing agencies to determine septic suitability.
The area subject to this permission is located on the east side of 11 Country Club Drive. Access
to the testing area shall be taken via 11 Country Club Drive.
This authorization is granted solely for the purposes described above and may be relied upon by
the Town, its departments, and consultants in connection with any applicable review or approval
process.
