immediate danger: The phone will offer direet communication, the searching pele allows for theaise.of the bot up and down stairs or

Electronic Control Weapons (EC Ws) are-a less lethal ase oF force option for officers ihat have become a staridard issued piece OF
equipment. The department's current inventory of devices consists of both Taser aid Phazzer brand unlts, “The majority of the Taser
uniis were parchased between 2008-2010 and are no longer covered by warranty, As some Of the unis are becoming tinserviceable, the
department would purchase twenty-six (26) new Phazzer-devices to replace the older Taser units. The Waterford Police: Deparivient
began traiisifioning to Phagzer in 2014, and the units have proved teliable while providing a significant cost savings at approximately
halfoFthe cost compared to Taser. New Phazzet devices are less expensive to maintain with rechargeable versus disposablé batterics,
and include.a five-year warranty. Training will consolidate and reduce. costsag well.
