SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS
JULY 27, 2021


PRESENT:	James Dimmock, Mark Gelinas, Chris Gamble and Robert Brule

ABSENT:	Thomas Sheridan

DEPARTMENT:	Chief B. Mahoney, Lt. T. Silva, Lt. M. Balestracci, Sgt. A. Farrior, Investigator E. Fredricks, Investigator R. Carroll, Officer M. Sylvestre, Officer T Zaldivar

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:

CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISH QUORUM:
Chairman Gelinas called the special meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the General Meeting Room of the Waterford Police Department.  A Quorum was established.

MOTION: made by Chairman Gelinas and seconded by Commissioner Gamble to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of conducting Detective Interviews at 5:03 p.m. Chief Mahoney was included in the executive session along with Lt. Silva, Balestracci when needed.   

The Board came out of Executive Session at 6:18 p.m.  There were no motions made or action taken while in Executive Session.  

MOTION: made by Commissioner Gamble and SECONDED by Commissioner Dimmock to promote Investigator Raymond Carroll III to the rank of Detective effective on the date to be determined by the needs of the Department.  Effective immediately this promotional process is exhausted.			

MOTION: made by Commissioner Dimmock and seconded by Commissioner Brule to adjourn the meeting at 6:22 p.m.  Passed unanimously.
