MINUTES BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS December 8, 2021 Zoom meeting ID 824 0566 6599 PRESENT: Chairman Mark Gelinas, Christopher Gamble, James Dimmock and Robert Brule Commissioners NOT PRESENT: T Sheridan DEPARTMENT: Interim Chief Balestracci, Lt. Silva, Administrative Sergeant Ferland Pledge of Allegiance CALL TO ORDER AND ESTABLISH QUORUM: Called to order at 4:30 Quorum was established 2022- 2023 Budget Review- Interim Chief Balestracci gave a brief overview of the budget. Chairman Gelinas asked about the mental health and drug screening process, as well as the police accountability act. He also explained the cost of fuel was significantly increased this budget year. Commissioner Brule Stated that he felt the budget was fair and that the Team did a good job of preparing the budget. MOTION: made by J. Dimmock That the Board of Police Commissioners accept the budget as presented, the motion was Seconded by Commissioner Gamble. Motion passed with 3 yes and Commissioner Brule abstained.
