Re: Emergency Legislation
The Library and Public Works departments request the RTM to
consider and act on the request of the additional appropriation as
emergency legislation and to waive the 15 day waiting period. Time
is critical.
The Contractor needs to start the project in early April in order to get
the equipment ordered. Actions at the Federal level may cause
increased pricing in the manufacturing of the HVAC units that the
contractor can’t absorb.
